Auroville International

Auroville International (AVI), which has it's legal basis in the Netherlands, has centers and liaison offices in 19 countries around the world. Auroville International USA is one of these centers.

The aim of Auroville International, like that of all it's centers, is to support the International Township of Auroville in India. This support can take any of many forms, such as networking with international, governmental and non-governmental organizations and acting as a channel for funds to Auroville’s projects. Many of the Auroville International Centers, like AVIUSA, are able to provide tax deductions to their national donors.

The AVI Board, Centers, Liaisons and friends of Auroville meet annually to make major policy decisions, to appoint new board members and to discuss timely ways of interfacing with Auroville. These meetings are hosted by a different center each year and are open to anyone who has an active interest in Auroville.
