Mission Statement

Specific and Primary Purpose:

To support the projects and development of the International Township of Auroville, which is the first attempt anywhere to create a universal town where men and women of all countries can live together in peace and progressive harmony, above all creeds, all politics and all nationalities.

General Purpose:

To promote understanding and peace between nations and individuals, a living embodiment of an actual human unity, and an environment for unending education and constant progress for humankind.

Method:

Methods include: Establishing liaisons and connections between parties sharing common interests in the United States and Auroville; establishing cultural and student exchanges; fundraising for important projects; providing information to people interested in traveling to or joining Auroville.
