Land Fund Matching Program 2002

In the face of the current
land crisis, Auroville Land Fund, AVI USA and two anonymous
donors have all joined hands to offer you a new matching
program designed to raise over $34,000 for the "Land
for Auroville" cause.
How does it work? Two donors have pledged a total
of $17,000 to the Land Fund, provided we can raise another
$17,000 by Dec 31st, 2002. In order to allow as many people
as possible to participate, the donors are matching only
the first $100 of your donation. If you donate $100
(or more) to the Auroville Land Fund via AVI USA before
Dec 31st, $100 will be added to your donation.
Although donations below $100 are not eligible for a match,
we encourage you to donate
whatever you can. We would also like to encourage you not
to limit your donation to $100. At this point, every dollar
counts!
You can make a contribution online with your credit
card via Helping.org's secure website or you can write
a check. Don't forget to specify "Land Fund"
when making your donation. Thanks for helping purchase land
for Auroville!

Consider Creating A Matching Program
Your gift could create a greater impact in Auroville if it
inspires others to donate too. Previous matching programs
through AVIUSA have shown that people donate enthusiastically
when they know that their donation will be doubled or tripled
before being sent to Auroville.
