Tax Exemption Status

Auroville International USA is classified by the Federal Government as a tax exempt nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Foundation Status Classification is: 509(a)(2) and the Federal Employer Identification Number is 23-7360183.

If you make a donation through AVIUSA to one of Auroville's projects, or make a contribution to AVIUSA itself, you will receive a receipt for your tax purposes. Note that this tax-exemption letter can only be used by U.S. taxpayers.
