Partners and projects are subject to US regulatory approval before receiving funds. AVI USA’s listed projects are compliant with US nonprofit regulations. As a “Friends Of Organization“, Auroville International USA is required to retain full discretion and control over all donated funds. While we always seek to honor the donor’s intent, we must reserve the right to redirect funds to a different beneficiary who can accomplish the charitable purposes of any intended project.

For any donation intended to support one of AVI USA’s vetted projects in Auroville, AVI USA retains 10% to support our overall operating expenses, which include banking and transaction fees (5-8%), donor management software, education and outreach work, and accounting and administrative oversight.
