Auroville’s Farms and Forests are among its most sought-after destinations. Its forestry teams are known for pioneering the restoration of the Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest of India’s southeast coast. Its farms are models of organic farming and permaculture, drawing visitors from across India with volunteer opportunities, workshops, and farm-to-table meals.
