Planned Giving For Auroville

How to Support Auroville in Perpetuity

Planned giving is a great way to ensure that some of the assets you leave behind nourish the future work and aspirations of Auroville International USA and the projects we support in Auroville.

There are many ways to approach this, depending on your unique circumstances. You can include a donation directly in your will or trust, or you can designate Auroville International USA as a beneficiary in your retirement, bank or investment accounts, or your life insurance policy.

We have two funds that you can support with your planned gift: the AVI USA General Fund, and the AVI USA Permanent Endowment. Donations to the General Fund allow AVI USA flexibility to respond to emergent needs, and donation to the Permanent Endowment guarantee that your gift will continue to support AVI USA in perpetuity. Ways to Support AVI USA

Your Will

Creating a gift for AVI USA in your Will, or through a Trust, enables you to achieve financial and tax goals, and benefit the mission of Auroville. This type of gift is named Bequest and it allows your legacy to endure.

Beneficiary Designation

Another typer of gift can be through a Designation of Beneficiary, on financial accounts or life insurance. This greatly simplifies the giving process. This is a Beneficiary Designation.

Celebration of Life Fundraiser

The first Legacy Gift we received was a Celebration of Life Fundraiser created by Board member Bryan Walton for Malarchi Boarding School. His fundraiser ensured the continuation of Malarchi.
