OUR MISSION

Auroville International USA serves projects working to support understanding and peace between diverse communities and individuals, unending education, conscious spiritual evolution, and Earth stewardship, which are the founding ideals of Auroville.

We work with project leaders, donors, and all those who aspire to integrate spiritual and material life.

We ensure donors that their contributions are used effectively and share inspiration from our projects with the world.

We help projects develop sustainable funding, fiscal responsibility, and reliable programmatic outcomes.

OUR VISION

We believe that human unity leaves no one out, and includes honoring every unique human and the diversity of human experience.

We believe that human unity is not an end in itself, but a natural result of and step on the way toward collective spiritual realization.

We believe that Mother and Sri Aurobindo have offered the world profound spiritual teachings with practical relevance to humanity’s current challenges and we aspire for our organization to embody these teachings.

WHO WE ARE

Auroville International USA (AVI USA) is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization. Our purpose is to engage in charitable and educational activities within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.

These activities include, but not are not limited, to supporting projects aligned with the founding ideals of Auroville and promoting wherever, whenever possible peace and understanding between nations and individuals, a living embodiment of an actual human unity, an environment for unending education, and constant progress for humankind.

AVI USA is an active and rapidly growing global organization. We support charitable projects that align with the charter of Auroville, a unique township in South India created with a remarkable vision by Mirra Alfassa of the Future for humanity and the Earth.
