We are inspired by your outpouring of generosity and love for Auroville in 2023. We ended the year with AVI USA’s second annual Matching Donation Campaign. During December alone, you contributed over $210,000 for Auroville projects!
It’s amazing to be a part of such a dynamic global community. Behind every donation made this year lies a unique story. Each donation connects hearts across continents and nurtures a world built on unity and hope.
On behalf of all the beneficiaries, we offer our gratitude to the 114 of you who contributed $64,000 in matching funds,. And special thanks go to Raman Rama, Santosh Krinsky, and an Anonymous donor, each of whom donated $10,000 in matching funds!
The matching pool enabled donations made by 320 donors, who gave over $145,000 to 47 Auroville projects, to be doubled. We are sending much needed financial support to Auroville because of your generosity!

Heading into 2024, you can help lay the groundwork for next year’s matching campaign! Many projects were incredibly successful in their fundraising outreach, securing new donors and more generous gifts. The donor outreach efforts surpassed our expectations and we reached our match limit before the end of December.
Help us grow our fundraising match pool for 2024! Sign up to be a monthly donor and select General Support for Auroville as the designation. All funds received throughout the year will be held until December for the matching pool!

We thank our donors for this much-needed support for bioregion and Auroville youth in higher order skilling ( Sustainability, AI/ML, Marketing and Design) and providing STEAM-based learning in bioregion schools. The funds helped us improve the STEAM-based education program and accept more youth for skilling.

The AVI-USA Matching initiative was a wonderful idea with real results! Previous donors and new supporters contributed to the celebration of The Mother and Auroville’s birthdays, when we announced the addition of 14 new plots of land, thanks to donor generosity. Donations are the only support for completing the City of Dawn’ land base!
