We have structures in place to shield our dogs from the rain and scorching heat, and a large dormitory, some of our cherished 300 residents long for a space they can call their own. The dogs needing special houses may have transmittable skin disease, they may be new to the shelter and in need of adjustment time, or they may need special medical care that. would disrupt dogs in the general dormitory.

Our goal is to construct a minimum of 30 cozy dog houses that will provide them with a secure and comfortable tiny house they can call their home. We will hire a skilled carpenter and buy plywood, coat it with rain-resistant material, and outfit it with all a tiny dog house needs so that they will be safe and shielded from the heat and the heavy monsoon rains. We will construct dog houses of different sizes from single rooms to double or triple occupancy so that our dogs can choose if they want to live alone or with a roommate. The cost of one dog house is approximately Rs. 4.000 which is the equivalent of USD 50. In order to construct 30 dog houses, and additional expenses, we need to raise a budget of USD 2,000.
