Delhi Sri Aurobindo Ashram Volunteer Opportunities

The Delhi Branch of Sri Aurobindo Ashram is a beautiful retreat space carrying on the teachings of Sri Aurobindo in North India. Whether in a peaceful oasis of Delhi, or the stunning locations of Madhuban and Van Nivas in the foothills of the Himalayas at Ramgarh or Nainital, the northern Sri Aurobindo ashrams provide a spiritual haven for those wishing to reflect in the middle of nature learn about Integral Yoga.

These beautiful locations are in need of live-in volunteers with a variety of skills to help in developing local outreach programs and help with the daily work in the ashram.


Ashram Needs

Gardening: we need help in our gardens, orchards, and schools we have adopted.
Cooking : upgrading our kitchen (salad making // cooking classes for kitchen staff – vegetarian )
Various: carpentry, music, research work in integral yoga,
Tech: web designing and helping with our social media 

Who We Are Looking For

Individuals focused on building one inner ecology – mentoring for inner work along with village outreach work needs a basic qualification of a learner.

Students from liberal arts and ecology, social sciences, music and cultural studies can conduct cross-nation research and add and learn to our work 


Time Commitment

Minimum 30 working days. 3-6 month commitment is welcome!

Daily Routines

Projects are completed within a shared time frame – also it’s important for the volunteer to work on their inner ecology opportunities by following the ashram rhythm.

Exchange

We provide room, board and daily amenities. Each individual has different needs and capacities. We welcome your inquiry and do a case by case assessment of how we can best work together.

Complete one of the application forms linked below. Once the ashram reviews your form, they will reach out to schedule a Zoom interview. Please choose resident volunteer if you wish to spend an extended time working and living at the Ashram.
