Every year, the AVI USA Board of Directors gets together in person to explore the deeper aspects of our connection to Auroville and how our aspirations can manifest as strategies in the year ahead.

This September, we met on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, where we could walk on the beach and see seals surfing in the pounding waves or walk on tree-lined gravel roads to serene freshwater ponds. 

The main areas of focus from our time together were our new planned giving program, our new process for approving funding for Auroville projects, and our processes for recruiting and welcoming new board members. We also talked about developing a network that could host online dialogues with Aurovilians and people connected to Auroville, and possibly an in-person conference focused on human unity and Auroville.

It was a fruitful meeting, and we are all looking forward to the growth that we foresee in the coming year.
