Matthew Andrews

Matthew first visited in Auroville in 2000 and felt an immediate sense of connection and purpose. Since then, he has been studying and seeking to embody the teachings of integral yoga in all aspects of life. He joined the AVI-USA board of directors in 2014, and became board President in 2020. He manages Shraddhā Yoga with his wife Corinne, and before that he was Senior Director of State Operations for Best Buddies International.

Binah grew up in Auroville, and carries the Auroville spirit in her heart wherever she finds herself. Her heart connection brings supporters of Auroville to those who need them most. Her work sustaining Auroville has manifested in many forms and has touched many lives.

Ioana Boambes

Ioana, or Iswari as she is known in some parts of Auroville, first discovered the international town in 2018. The multi-cultural life centered around the relationship with nature inspired her to return and volunteer for a short period of time. Ioana takes care of our online platforms and supports Auroville partners with online fundraising and outreach.
