Join author and historian Luc Venet for a talk about his new biography of Sri Aurobindo, The Never-dying Fire. Sri Aurobindo was one of the significant personalities of 20th-century India. After a thoroughly western education at King’s College, Cambridge, he embarked on a political struggle to challenge Britain’s colonial domination over India.
Luc Venet’s biography traces Sri Aurobindo’s steps from youth to his mature revolutionary and yogic vision, with nuanced and detailed biographical research.
Luc will be interviewed by Devdip Ganguli, who teaches undergraduate studies at Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education. The talk will be hosted by Julian Lines.
